Hands down bar none the ABSOLUTE BEST (taste, seasoning and made fresh to perfection) Thai food I have ever had ESPECIALLY the calamari - GEESUS!!! The selection of dishes were so damn scrumptious it will make you “slap yo mama” well don’t do that, but you get my point! The ambiance is absolutely cozy and utterly breathtaking! Finally, Service by Matvey (my bartender) as well as Jasper, Reece and the very lovely hostess Gail made this an AMAZING and AWESOME upscale dining experience at The Avalon! Imma be a regular FOR SURE! “Run it back” on the regular!

I recently went here for lunch with a coworker and the interior was very elegant yet not stuffy. The service was excellent and they came back to check on us several times. I got the pad Thai, which was delicious and very filling and I had to get the mango sticky rice as well since it’s one of my favorites.

I decided to stop by Thai Candle Seafood & Bar while attending a conference after hearing so many great things from other attendees, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in during some downtime, I was seated right away and the staff was very attentive. One thing I really appreciated was the menu. As someone who isn’t very familiar with Thai food and is a visual person, I loved that they included pictures of almost every dish. It made ordering so much easier. My waiter was fantastic, and I started with a virgin strawberry margarita and the mango wings. The wings were crispy, hot, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not overly sauced or too sweet. There were so many delicious options that it was hard to decide. The garlic noodles with mushroom and shrimp and the crab fried rice both looked amazing, but I ultimately chose the drunken noodles with shrimp and added a side of fried rice to satisfy that craving. My wife and I visited this spot for an impromptu date, and we were struck by the intimacy of the restaurant's atmosphere. Our waiter Reese was very attentive and did a great job describing the mocktail choices (they designate cocktails on the drink menu that can be converted to mocktails)--I went with the delicious Lychee Martini. In terms of appetizers, the calamari were among the best we've ever tasted, as was the Tom Yum soup. However, I would pass on the mango wings. We tried the Pad Thai with shrimp, which was above average, but the real hero was the perfectly cooked basil lamb with lots of flavor. We finished off with a very light tea cake. All told, it was a great experience and we'll be back.

We had an enjoyable dining experience at the restaurant on a Friday evening. The ambience was nice and cozy, creating a warm and inviting setting. The food was well-prepared, with generous portions and satisfying flavors. A reservation is highly recommended - especially on weekends, as the restaurant does get quite busy. Our server, Sarah, was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. While our entrée was delayed, she handled the situation professionally and kindly offered a complimentary beverage as a thoughtful service recovery, which we appreciated. Would definitely return.
